Dodo batuta si haituita pe strazile PloiestiuluiDodo, beaten and chased on the Ploiesti city streets

Dodo este defapt o catelusa. Azi a fost dusa la City Vet unde a fost consultata. Concluzia a fost amputarea labutei care nu mai putea fi salva. Acum Dodo este in operatie pentru labuta cangrenata, codita si tot acum va fi si sterilizata. Tineti-i pumnii stransi micutei cu suflet minunat. Vom reveni cu vesti curand.
Imediat ce ajuns la City Vet Dodo s-a instalat sub un scaun ca si cum ar fi stiut ca va ramane acolo.
Dodo is, actually, a girl. Today she was taken to City vet where she was examined. The conclusion is that the leg must be amputated because it cannot be saved. She is now in surgery for the amputation of the leg, ripped tail and will also be spayed. Keep your fingers crossed for this little one. We will keep you updated.
As soon as we arrived at the clinic, she got comfy under a chair as if she knew she was going to stay there for a while.

Povestea: Acum 4-5 zile am primit o cerere de ajutor tocmai din Ploiesti. Suna cam asa: 
Va scriu in speranta ca puteti ajuta un sufletel care are nevoie de oameni ca voi sa poata sa treaca cu bine de tot ce i s-a intamplat din rautatea unor oameni lipsiti de suflet.. 
Acum cateva zile am vazut un catelus in drum spre servici. Am ramas socata de cum arata…se vedea ca a fost chinuit…are coada taiata…labuta din spate nu o mai poate folosi…practic o taraste …este foarte umflata. Banuiesc ca are nevoie de o operatie..tratament…eu i-am dat antiinflamator pentru durere..dar nu-mi permit sa pot plati o operatie si de tratamentul de care banuiesc ca are nevoie. Va rog frumos sa ma ajutati…sa-l ajutati sa traiasca si sa nu se mai chinuie. Cu tot ce a patimit inca are incredere in oameni si nu fuge cand te duci spre el..este foarte bland si are nevoie de multa atentie si iubire .Sta in fata scarii unui bloc si mi-e teama sa nu pateasca ceva mai rau…sunt atat de multi oameni rai sau poate fi luat de hingheri…nici nu se pune problema sa poata fugi.

Initial am sperat sa gasim pe cineva din zona care sa il preia. Adapostul nostru este si asa mai mult decat plin. Dar lucrurile nu s-au derulat asa cum am sperat, iar starea lui Dodo se agrava pe zi ce trecea. Faptul ca intr-o zi nu a fost de gasit ne-a determinat sa mergem imediat sa il luam. Asa ca, in dimineata aceasta, doi dintre voluntarii nostri au plecat sa il ia pe Dodo. Au constatat cu tristete ca ranile lui erau mult mai grave decat ne asteptam. Coada este taiata, una din labute a fost prinsa intr-un lat prezentand leziuni grave ce ar putea duce la sectionarea piciorului.

Cu toate astea Dodo este de o blandete maxima. A stat cuminte sa ii punem hamul, iar in masina s-a comportat impecabil. Cu atat mai mult cu cat a avut si o partenera de drum, catelusa gasita in padure.

Acum Dodo se afla in grija noastra si va primi ingrijirile de care are nevoie. La fel de important este si gasirea unui foster, pe perioada tratamentului.

Four – five days ago, we received a request for help from Ploiesti. This is it:
„I am writing to to you in hope that you can help this little soul that needs people like you to get over the bad things heartless people had done to him.
A few days ago, on my way to work, I saw a puppy. I was shocked by the state he was in.. you could see he had been abused..his tail was cut off..he could not use his back leg..he’s dragging it..and it is extremely swollen. I suppose he needs surgery..treatment..I gave him some painkillers..but cannot afford the operation and the treatment he needs. Please help me.. help him live and not suffer anymore. In spite of all he has been through, he still trusts people and does not run.. he is very gentle and needs lots of attention and love. He is staying outside a block od flats and I fear something bad can happen to him.. there are a lot of bad people or he coul be take by the dog catchers..he can’t even run.”

Initially, we hoped we could find someone from that area that could take him in. Our shelter is already more than full. But things didn’t go the way we hoped and Dodo’s condition was getting worse. The fact that one day he was never to be found urged us to drive immediately and get him. As a result, this morning, two of our volunteers went to get Dodo. Sadly, they saw that his injuries were a lot worse than expected. His tail is cut off, one of his legs was caught in a wire and is gravely injured so it might lead to amputation.

Despite it all, Dodo is an extremely gentle dog. He was calm as we put the harness on and on the way back, he behaved great in the car, along with his companion, the puppy found in the woods.

Dodo is now in our care and will receive the medical care he needs. It is urgent that we find a foster home as he continues his treatment.
