In drumul nostru spre adapost, astazi, in fata unei curti dintr-o margine de sat, am vazut un motan cu ceva care-i flutura pe spate. Ne-am oprit sa ne uitam mai bine, cum facem intotdeauna, si ne-a stat inima-n loc: motanul avea o bucata de piele, cat jumatate de palma, desprinsa. Pielea era intarita si uscata, semn ca rana nu era noua, iar dedesubt… carne vie. Se vedea si o vaga urma de ingrijire, niste spray albastru, dat cine stie cand. Today, on our way to the shelter, in front of a yard at the end of the village, we saw a tomcat with something hanging on his back. We stopped to take a better look,like we always do and we had a shock: He had a torn up piece of skin the size of a hand hanging on his back. The skin was hard and dry, meaning the wound was old and underneath..raw flesh. Some signs of medical attention were there, like an old blue spray.
Am vazut multe, dar asa o rana la un biet motan, mai rar. Am batut la poarta oamenilor si l-am cerut sa-l ducem la doctor. Dupa ceva negocieri, l-am si primit, cu conditia sa-l returnam cand se face bine. Cica un vecin (ca om nu poate fi numit) l-a prins ca i-a intrat in curte si a aruncat cu apa clocotita peste el. Cand? „Aa, pai era inca frig afara”.
Nici nu putem sa ne inchipuim prin ce suferinta a trecut motanul, insa, in mod extraordinar, inca mai iubeste oamenii: tot drumul pana la Bucuresti a tors si si-a frecat capul de palmele noastre.
Deocamdata a primit hrana buna si a fost cazat, iar maine dimineata la prima ora vom fi cu el la veterinar. Trebuie sa-i fie indepartata bucata mare de piele moarta si ramane de vazut care e situatia dedesubt.
Mai are drum lung pana i se va reface pielea si i se va inchide rana. Daca doriti sa-l sprijiniti si sa contribuiti la achitarea tratamentului, o puteti face donand in conturile noastre:

We have seen many things but such an injury on a poor cat is rare even for us. We knocked on the door and asked to take the cat to the vet. After negotiating, we took him in our care on the condition that we bring him back after the treatment. It turns out a neighbor poured some boiled water on him when he caught the cat in his yard. When? „Aa, when it was still cold outside”.
We can’t even begin to imagine the pain he’s been through but it seems that he still loves humans: on the way back to the city he kept purring and stroking his head on our hands.
For now, he was fed and is in foster care and tomorrow he will be seen by a vet first in the morning. The dead skin must be removed and the wound must be investigated to see what is to be done next.
