Ieri 23 11 2012 am primit pe e-mail acest mesaj.
„Buna ziua!
Imi permit sa va deranjez pentru ca nu stiu unde sa mai cer ajutor.
Acum o luna si jumatate un catel ale carui picioare din spate sunt rupte a fost aruncat la groapa de gunoi a orasului Urziceni jud. Ialomita. L-am hranit, l-am acoperit de ploaie numai ca intr-o zi un buldozer a nivelat pamantul de la groapa de gunoi si el a fost aruncat in albia secata a unui rau. Yesterday 23.11.2012 we received the following message:

‘Hello!

I disturb you because I don’t know where to go to receive some help.

A month and a half ago, a dog with the back legs broken was thrown in the city’s garbage dump in Urziceni, Ialomita. I fed him and covered him when rained, but in one day a bulldozer flatten the mud from that garbage dump and he was thrown in a dried up riverbed. Aproape 2 saptamani nu l-am mai vazut astfel incat am crezut ca a fost ingropat de viu. Numai ca de o saptamana l-am revazut zacand in albia raului. Am coborat si l-am hranit incluziv astazi. Initial am crezut ca e paralizat dar astazi se bucura dand din codita.
Am sesizat veterinarii din oras in vederea unei eutanasii pentru ca efectiv se chinuie. Am fost refuzata pe motiv ca au nevoie de aprobari. L-as lua acasa dar am deja 4 caini si 3 pisici toate adunate dupa strada.
Va multumesc si va rog daca puteti sa-l ajutati v-as ramane recunoscatoare!”

Am citit, ne-am crucit si am actionat.
Alina si Mihai, voluntarii nostri l-au adus in Bucuresti. Cainele este internat acum la Spiru Haret si peste cateva ore vom sti care-i situatia lui. Arata ca un schelet si este o minune ca a reusit sa supravietuiasca in conditiile descrise mai sus.
Va vom tine la curent cu situatia micutului luptator.
Va reamintim contul in care puteti dona daca doriti sa ne sprijiniti actiunile de salvare a animalutelor aflate in situatii limita,

Vestile sunt dintre cele mai rele. Catelul nu are picioarele rupte ci probleme grave la coloana si anume are tasare de vertebre toracale. Nu stim ce sanse are dar vom incerca tot ce e posibil din punct de vedere medical. Nu stim cum a putut ajunge in aceasta situatie dar presupunem ca nu este vorba de un accident asa cum se credea initial. Vom reveni cu vesti imediat ce se produce o schimbare in starea lui. Va multumim din inima pentru suport.For about 2 weeks I didn’t see him so I thought he was buried alive. For about a week I found him in the riverbed. I got to him and fed him, including today. Initially I thought he is paralyzed but today he was glad and even waived his tail.

I went to the veterinaries in the city to ask them to euthanize him because he is in great torment. My request was rejected because they need some kind of approvals. I would take him home but I already have 4 dogs and 3 cats, all taken from the streets.

We read, we were amazed and we reacted.

Alina and Mihai, Our volunteers brought him in Bucharest. The dog is now hospitalized at Spiru Haret and in a few hours we will know what is his state. He looks like a skeleton and it is a miracle that he survived in the above mentioned conditions.

The news are among the worst. The dog doesn’t have the legs broken but serious problems at his spine, he has the thoracic vertebrae compacted (it is a dysplasia that gives him pain). We don’t know what are his chances for healing but we will try everything medically speaking. We don’t know how he got in this situation but we believe it is no accident as we initially thought. We shall post news about his situation as soon as any change occurs. We thank you from our hearts for your support.
