De spaima de a raspunde la telefon din cauza prea multor solicitari de ajutor pentru animale aflate in pericol de moarte, pentru care nu avem solutii si in cazul carora nu mai putem ajuta, v-am tot povestit. Despre spaima de a circula pe strazi unde poti gasi tot felul de animalute abandonate in pungi, pachetele, cutii etc., ati auzit sau poate chiar ati cunoscut-o.

About our fear of answering the phone because of the many requests for help that we receive for animals in danger and for which we don’t have any solutions we already told you. About our fear of walking on the streets, where you can find animals abandoned in bags, packages or boxes you have already heard or maybe you have experienced it also.

Si noi ca tot omul avem astfel de spaime si pentru ca de ce-ti e frica nu scapi, iata ca din nou am ramas nauci de cruzimea de care pot da dovada oamenii. Ce ne-a fost dat sa vedem pe un camp, langa o sosea circulata, ne-a lasat cu gura casacata , la propriu. Ce am vazut mai intai? Catava pui cat palma. Am oprit si mare ne-a fost surpriza cand am vazut ca era vorba despre o mama cu pui, am zis noi. Gresit, erau doua mame cu pui si nu prea departe de ele alti caini prietenosi sau mai fricosi. In total doua mame, 10 pui, si cel putin inca 4 catei adulti, adica 16 animalute abandonate sub cerul liber, fara niciun strop de hrana, fara apa pe canicula asta, si-n plus langa o sosea unde se circula doar cu viteza peste limita legala. Unul dintre caini era sa fie lovit de o masina chiar in fata noastra. Altfel cainii aratau bine,cu exceptia mamelor care erau cam istovite. O singura mamica, cea alba sarmoasa, ne-a acordat incredere deplina din primul moment. Cealalta nu dadea semne ca ne-ar accepta, dar in final a inteles ca ii suntem prieteni si ne-a lasat s-o luam in brate. In aceasi zi in care i-am gasit, am luat puii si cele doua mamici si le-am dus in adapost. A doua zi am revenit pe camp si am luat o femela sterilizata si crotaliata si inca doi masculi. Din nefericire au ramas pe camp, o catelusa sau posibil doua, salbaticite si in mod sigur nesterilizate. Vom continua sa le cautam, desi suntem sceptici in ceea ce priveste sansa de a le captura.Pentru noi preluarea acestor caini este un mare efort in situatia in care adapostul este supraaglomerat si capacitatea noastra de a-i intretine este limitata. Ne-a fost insa imposibil sa-i lasam acolo, uitati de lume, uitati de Dumnezeu, nezariti de niciunul dintre sutele de oameni care au trecut prin zona.

And because you never escape of what you fear, we were shocked again by how cruel some people can be. We were simply shocked by what we saw on a field, near a crowded highway. What we saw first? Some very small puppies. We stopped the car and to our surprise we saw that it was a mother with puppies…or at least that is what we thought. But we were wrong, there were two mothers with puppies and not too far from them there were other dogs, some friendly and others a little scared. So there were two mothers, 10 puppies and at least 4 adult dogs, meaning 16 animals abandoned under the open sky, with no water, near a crowded highway, where people drive very fast. One of the dogs almost got hit by a car just in front of us. The dogs looked good, except the mothers that seemed exhausted. One mother, the white one, trusted us from the first moment. The other one didn’t seem to accept us but in the end she understood that we are her friends and let us take her in our arms. In the same day that we found them, we took the puppies and the two mothers and took them to the shelter. The next day we came back to the field and we took another neutered female and two males. Unfortunately a female dog or maybe two are still on the field. They are not used to people and for sure are not neutered. We will continue to look for them, even if we are skeptical about our chances to capture them. For us, taking these dogs under our care is a very big effort, as our shelter is extremely crowded and our capacity for offering them what they need is limited. But we just couldn’t leave them there.
