Greaty in ciuda paraliziei de care sufera, este vioaie, jucausa si cu o pofta de viata de impresionat. De 2 luni este cazata temporar in casa unui voluntar Robi si in acest timp micuta ne-a lasat sa ii descoperim firea iubitoare si blanda pe care aceasta si-a pastrat-o, in ciuda greutatilor prin care a trecut.
Ii place foarte mult sa manance, orice fel de hrana, umeda, uscata si gatita.. a si pus cam 2-3 kg pe ea deja.Greaty wants to be in a family! What are the chances of a paralyzed female dog from Romania to be adopted in a loving family?

In spite of her condition she is an active, cheerful dog with an amazing desire to live. Since 2 months ago she is being sheltered in the home of one of Robi’s volunteers and in this time she let us to discover her gentile, loving character that she kept despite the horrible situation she has been through.
Sa va explicam ce inseamna sa ai grija de un catel paralizat:
Greaty este un catel normal, doar ca nu poate iesi la plimbare fara carucior. Ii place mult sa stea afara, cand este frumos si soare, sta aproape toata ziua afara. In casa este linistita, doarme bine noaptea si ii place sa aiba culcusul ei, sta pe paturici normale si absorbante. Este foarte sociabila, acum locuieste cu inca 3 caini. Sta nesupravegheata si cate 5 ore pe zi, deci nu trebuie neaparat sa fie cineva langa ea non-stop. Spre deosebire de un catel care nu are probleme de deplasare trebuie spalata mai des doar in zona posterioara pentru o igiena corespunzatoare si data cu un unguent protector pentru micile rani care ii mai apar pe picioarele din spate din cauza ca se taraie cand nu sta in carucior.
In rest este sanatoasa, nu sufera de nici o boala, este sterilizata, vaccinata si deparazitata. Varsta ei este de aproximativ 5-6 ani si este de talie medie.

Greaty poate ajunge la o fundatie in Olanda, unde se afla multe animalute, inclusiv ati 8 caini paralizati. Datorita aglomeratiei de acolo, dorim o casuta cu mai putine animale pentru Greaty, astfel incat sa poata primi mai multa atentie.
Ii multumim fundatiei care o asteapta pentru ca ne-a oferit sansa si intelegerea de a-i cauta un camin privat lui Greaty!
She loves to eat any kind of food, fry, wet, home cooked.. she already gained 2-3 kilos.
Let us explain you what means to look after a paralyzed dog:
Greaty is a normal dog that cannot go out for walks without the help of her wheelchair. She likes to stay outside (in a yard) when is sunny and nice weather she stays out almost all day long. Inside the house she is a good dog, she sleeps all night long and likes to have her little “crib” with blankets and dog pads. She is sociable, at the moment she lives with other 3 dogs. She stays alone at home for 5 hours, so she doesn’t need non-stop surveillance. Unlike a dog that has no moving problems, she needs to be cleaned more often for hygienical reasons and needs any kind of healing creams for the small wounds that appear on her back legs because of the crawling.
She is a healthy dog, she hasn’t any illnesses, she is neutered, vaccinated and dewormed. She is approximately 5-6 years old.

Greaty is awaited at a fundation in Holland, which has more animals in care including other 8 paralyzed dogs. We hope to find for her a private home with less animals in care so Greaty could receive more attention.
