[:ro]Care este situatia actuala a adapostului pentru caini?
Ce este de fapt adapostul Asociatiei Robi? Un teren care nu este in proprietatea noastra, pe care am ridicat aproximativ 30 de tarcuri de plasa. Avem in jur de 125 de casute pentru catei (unele in stare buna, altele ce necesita reparatii) si gazduim peste 150 de caini (asadar nu toti cateii au propria casuta). Conditiile sunt departe de a fi ce ne dorim sa le oferim acestor catei.
Exceptand faptul ca acestia sunt departe de pericolele strazii, ei trebuie sa indure conditii destul de grele. Adapostul nu are pereti sau tavan, asadar cateii sunt complet expusi tuturor conditiilor meteo, canicula si soare puternic vara, ploi torentiale si zapada abundenta in anotimpurile reci, temperaturi prea joase sau prea ridicate.
Aceste biete suflete nu au vazut un pat in viata lor. Puteti ajuta adoptandu-i!
Deoarece nu suntem proprietarii terenului, nu putem investi mai mult decat o facem deja (tarcuri, casute pentru catei si orice materiale sau constructii care pot fi usor demontate si transportate).

Cheltuieli lunare aproximative:

– cheltuieli cu hranirea zilnica a cainilor si curatarea casutelor: 250 euro/ $325;
– hrana pentru catei: 2.400 euro/$3.200;
– cheltuieli constante cu repararea si mentinerea casutelor si tarcurilor in conditii decente sau construirea unora noi;

– cheltuieli medicale pentru toti cateii: vaccinare, deparazitare, sterilizare si castrare, ingrijire medicala suplimentara pentru cainii pe care ii gasim raniti sau bolnavi si pe care ii luam in grija noastra. Nu detinem o clinica veterinara, deci trebuie sa ducem cateii la cabinete veterinare private.

Care este obiectivul nostru pe termen lung?
Vrem sa cumparam un teren si sa demaram constructia unui adapost adevarat, sa oferim conditii decente atat cainilor, cat si pisicilor, sa existe atat tarcuri in aer liber, cat si tarcuri inchise si izolate de intemperii.
Fiecare caine sa aiba propria casuta.
Sa existe un spatiu special dedicat adapostului de pisici.
Sa existe un spatiu pentru socializare si joaca.
Sa avem propria clinica veterinara unde sa putem acorda asistenta veterinara minima pentru animalele nevoiase din adapost.
Pana cand vom reusi sa indeplinim acest obiectiv, facem tot posibilul pentru a oferi acestor animale o viata buna pana la adoptie. Orice donatie este apreciata.

[:en]Update on dog shelter situation

What is, in fact, Robi Association’s shelter? A piece of land we don’t own, on which we built about 30 wire enclosures. We have some 125 dog houses, some solid, some in need of repairs, and we give shelter to over 150 dogs (so not all of them have their own kennel) Conditions are far from what we want to offer these dogs.

Excepting the fact that they’re relatively safe and far from street perils, they live in quite harsh conditions. The shelter has no roof or walls, so dogs are exposed to severe weather conditions, plenty of sun and heatwaves during summer, heavy rain and snow during winter, temperatures too low or too high.

These poor souls haven’t seen a proper dog bed in their lives. You can help them by adopting them!

Because we do not own the land, we cannot invest more than we already do (enclosures, doghouses and any structure that is easily dismantled and transported).

Estimated monthly costs:

– feeding the dogs and cleaning the doghouses – euro 250/ $ 325

– dog food – Euro 2400 / $ 3200

– constant repairs and maintenance for the doghouses and enclosures and building new ones

– medical costs for all the dogs: vaccines, deworming, neutering or spaying, medical care for the injured dogs, hit or sick, that we take in our care. We do not own a veterinarian clinic so we need to take the dogs to private vet clinics.

What is our long term goal?

We do want to buy a piece of land on which to start building a proper shelter, with proper living conditions for dogs and cats alike, with outside and inside enclosures, sheltered from the bad weather. Every dog should have his own house. Cats should have a special area for themselves. There should be a proper play and socialize enclosure. We should have our own vet office so we could provide a minimum of assistance to the sheltered animals.

Until we get to see this done, we struggle and do all our best to offer these helpless animals a better life, until they are adopted. Absolutely every donation is much appreciated.
