Principala cauza a existentei cainilor si pisicilor fara stapan o reprezinta inmultirea necontrolata a animalelor din proprietate privata adica a celor cu stapan.

Mai precis, majoritatea detinatorilor de animale de companie din Romania nu isi sterilizeaza animalele si cand numarul acestora devine in exces, acestia aleg sa le abanoneze. Ajunse pe domeniul public, animalele se inmultesc la randul lor, facand ca problema lor sa nu se rezolve niciodata indiferent de masurile luate doar fata de animalele fara stapan.

To be more precise, most pet owners in Romania do not neuter their animals and when these breed in excess, owners choose abbandoning them. When authorities will truly want to solve the stray cats and dogs issue they will take measures of controlling the owned pets breeding, by recording their numbers and imposing the mandatory neutering (exceptions taken into account, of course).

As long as the authorities will apply any other solutions except identifying and recording the owned pets and their mandatory neutering (exceptions taken into account), you can rest assured they DO NOT WANT TO SOLVE THE STRAY CATS AND DOGS ISSUE.
