Pe la sfarsitul anului trecut ne-am „pricopsit” cu un pisoi ce parea a fi femela intr-o stare avansata de gestatie. Dar n-a fost sa fie asa. Daca ne-am fi luat dupa pofta lui de mancare am fi zis ca-i cel mai sanatos pisoi, doar ca burtica i se umfla de la o zi la alta mai mult. Asa ca pisoul a ajuns la vet. pentru investigatii si am constat ca pisica era defapt un motanel cu o cantitate enorma de lichid in abdomen At the end of last year we got „stuck” with a cat in an advance state of gestation. Temperatura nu-i scadea sub 40 de grade sub nicio forma. Prima suspiciune a fost de PIF, Peritonita Infectioasa Felina boala mortala, fara leac si dupa mult tratament cu antibiotic tinand cont de faptul ca temperatura nu-i scadea Liss motanelul cu burtica imensa a fost la un pas de eutanasie. Dar pentru ca motanelul parea plin de viata am hotarat sa-i dam o sansa asa ca l-am luat acasa in ideea ca il vom tine in viata cat s-o putea. Priviti-l pe micut aici .
Am continuat tratamentul cu antibiotic, am trecut la doza soc si am avut placuta surpriza sa constatam ca a scapat de febra. Parea sa fi scapat de probleme si pentru ca am vrut sa fim siguri i-am facut o analiza din care a rezultat ca nu are PIF.

Ieri am primit rezultatul si acum incepem sa credem ca Liss va avea parte de viata asa ca indraznim sa-i scriem povestea cu speranta ca intr-o zi va fi adoptat. Asta nu inainte de a-i continua setul de analize pentru a vedea de ce cumuleaza inca lichid in burtica.
Dar analizele costa si pentru ca avem prea multe cazuri de rezolvat va cerem ajutorul in cazul lui Liss.

Intre timp motanelul a fost castrat deoarece era necesar si cel putin aparent se simte foarte bine, e vesel, se joaca si sufera de singuratate deoarece e tinut izolat de ceilalti pisoi.
Desigur va vom tine la curent cu evolutia lui si cu analizele care urmeaza sa-i fie facute. Deocamdata e din nou la o cura de antibiotice dupa care trecem din nou pe investigatii.

We continued the antibiotics treatment, we passed to the shock dosage and we had the pleasant surprise that he had no fever anymore. He seemed to get away from troubles and to be sure we did a test which showed that he doesn’t have FIP.

We got the results yesterday so we think that Liss will live, so we dare to write his story hoping that one day he will be adopted. That is not before of continuing a series of tests to see why he still accumulates liquid in his tummy.

Meanwhile the tomcat was neutered because it was necessary and at least apparently he is feeling fine, he is jolly, playing and suffers a little because he is isolated from the others.
