Va mai amintiti de pisicuta cu infectia foarte urata la maxilar?
La scurt timp dupa postare am reusit sa-I gasim cazare temporara, si astfel micuta si-a primit tratamentul corespunzator. Obrajorul ei s-a vindecat si pisicuta a devenit din ce in ce mai increzatoare si jucausa. 
Chiar cand credeam ca a scapat de probleme si ne pregateam sa o promovam pentru adoptie, am observat ca devenea din ce in ce mai palida… asa ca am decis sa ii facem niste analize.Remember the cat with the ugly infection in her jaw?:

Soon after the post, we found her a foster and she could continue her treatment. The cheek healed and she became more trusting and plauful.
But when we thought she was out of trouble and we were getting ready to promote her for adoption, we noticed that she was getting more and more pale.. so we run some blood tests.
Diagnosticul: Hemobartonella Felis, un parazit microscopic transmis de purici care ii distruge globulele rosii ale sangelui. Valorile hemogramei erau atat de modificate incat, pe langa tratamentul necesar, a avut nevoie si de o transfuzie de sange.
Am apelat la banca de sange Hemopet care a gasit imediat un donator compatibil, iar aseara pisicuta si-a primit mult necesara transfuzie. Efectele s-au vazut imediat! Nasucul ei foarte palid si gingiile aproape albe s-a colorat si ea deja avea chef de joaca si socializare!
Costul transfuziei a fost de 350 de lei, plus inca 100 de lei determinarea grupei sangvine. Daca doriti sa ajutati la achitarea facturii o puteti face donand in conturile:

Diagnosis: Hemobartonella Felis, a microscopical parasite transmited by fleas and distroys the red cells in blood. Her blood count was so modified that a blood transfusion was needed. We asked for help at Hemopet blood bank who immediately found a matching donor and she received the much needed transfusion last night. The results were immediate. Her pale nose and gums colored up and she was aready in mood for play.
The cost of the transfusion is 350 ron plus another 100 ron for determining the blood group.
