Vanilla – catelusa gonita de stapaniVanilla- the dog chased away by her owners

Vanilla este o catelusa pe care o vedeam deseori in fata curtii ei, in drum spre adapost. In ultimele luni, insa, era doar in fata portii. 

Am intrebat stapanii si am aflat motivul: pentru ca ‘face mizerie’ in curte, nu o mai vor si au dat-o afara. Micuta catelusa nu a inteles mesajul asa ca tot asteapta sa i se deschida poarta si, de fiecare data cand unul din membrii familiei iese afara, Vanilla il urmareste credincioasa. Vanilla is a female dog we use to often see in front of her yard, on our way to the shelter. In tha last months, though, she was seen only outside her yard.

We asked her owners about this and found out the reason: because she was making ‘a mess’ in the yard, they don’t want her anymore so they kicked her out. The little dog didn’t understand what happened so she kept waiting for the door to open and, each time one of the family members got out, she followed faithfully behind.

Vanilla este o catelusa tanara, 2-3 ani, talie mica. Este timida la inceput dar, cu putina rabdare, a demonstrat ca este o catelusa foarte cuminte si afectuoasa. Saptamana aceasta va fi vazuta de veterinar, vaccinata si sterilizata si, daca totul este in regula, isi va cauta un camin iubitor si responsabil.

When we offered to take her in our care, they were more than relieved that they got free from the ‘burden’.

Vanilla is a young female dog, 2-3 years of age, small size. She is shy at first but with a little patience, she proved to be very loving and well behaved. She will be seen by a vet this week, vaccinated and spayed and , if all is well, will be looking for a loving forever home.
